Steve McIntosh

Steve McIntosh

Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer

Steve McIntosh was one of the co-founders of BeQuick Software in 2002 and joined the company as Chief Operations Officer in December, 2003. Prior to BeQuick Software, Steve was Vice President of E-Commerce Development for World Choice Travel, which he co-founded in 1996 and sold to Travel Services International, Inc. in 2001. At World Choice Travel, in addition to leading the information technology department of 18 programmers and operations personnel, Steve was the original visionary behind many of the company’s core strategies such as private labeling. As a result, the company achieved an annual growth rate in excess of 125% for 7 consecutive years and grew to over $400 million in annual sales and 200 employees. World Choice Travel is regarded as the world leader in private label travel solutions. In November 2003, Steve played a key role in the sale of the company to the world’s second largest online travel seller, Travelocity, a division of Sabre, for $50 million. In 2000, Steve was awarded the Soloman Smith Barney award for Outstanding Sales Growth by Northwood University’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship awards program. Steve graduated in 2000 with highest honors from the University of Florida with a BA in Finance and minors in statistics and economics. In 2008, Steve was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition.

Sean Biganski

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Sean Biganski was one of the co-founders of BeQuick Software in 2002 and has served as Chief Technology Officer since the company’s inception. Prior to BeQuick Software, Sean held a senior IT position at a large South Florida based CLEC servicing the prepaid market. While there, Sean was responsible for the network infrastructure and oversaw all technology-related projects. Prior to working in the CLEC industry, Sean worked for Occicom International, a communications solutions provider based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. While there, Sean headed up a range of telecommunications projects including: data routing strategy, large industry satellite communication, international and domestic paging services and early VoIP applications. Sean holds an MCSD (Microsoft Certified Systems Developer) certificate, an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certificate. In 2008, Sean was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition.

Gissela Biganski

Director of Client Relations

Gissela Biganski joined BeQuick Software in January of 2005 to head up Client Relations.  She is responsible for overseeing the Account Management Team to ensure that the best, and most effective, service is provided.  Prior to BeQuick Software, Gissela worked as an Affiliate Manager for Travelocity, and as a Web-Content Producer for NBC6.  Gissela graduated in 2003 with an Associate of Science Multimedia & Web Design degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. In 2008, Gissela was a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition.

Jennifer Shin

Director, Business Development

Jennifer Shin joined BeQuick Software in February of 2006 to head up the Business Development and Sales efforts.  Her responsibilities include management and execution of all Sales and Marketing initiatives, including direct sales, partner relations, marketing communications and strategic planning.   Since joining BeQuick, Jennifer’s sales efforts contributed to the company’s recognition in 2010 by the prestigious Inc5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies with a 3-year average growth of over 350%.  Prior to BeQuick Software, Jennifer had an eight year tenure with NTT/Verio, based in Springfield, Virginia.  As the Manager of Partner Relations at NTT/Verio, she successfully managed a large network of channel partners in the Federal Government sector for enterprise Internet and managed hosting solutions.  As a Strategic Sales Executive at NTT/Verio, Jennifer was considered a top performer with earned achievements such as multiple President’s Club and Circle of Excellence awards. Jennifer graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing degree from Indiana University.

David Dragon

Manager, New Software Projects

David Dragon joined BeQuick Software in June of 2007 and is currently the Manager of New Software Projects.  With over 20 years of software and telecom experience, David assumes responsibility for developing new features that enhance the BeQuick BSS/OSS System, including the recently completed development of BeQuick’s IVR system for MVNO's.  In addition, David manages an internal software development group and oversees overall integration with billing data from numerous vendors such as Cisco Inc., Sprint Inc., and Broadsoft, Inc. Prior to joining BeQuick, David served as Chief Technology officer at Titan Telecom Inc., Chief Technology Officer at IntelliSwitch Inc, and Chief Technology Officer at PCS Telecom Inc.  Some noteworthy projects during his career include:

  • Carrier Class high capacity Prepaid Debit Switch for cellular and calling card applications used nationally and internationally by major inter-exchange carriers and wireless carriers in various countries including Australia, Venezuela, Peru and North America.
  • Voice recognition application for Pratt and Whitney.
  • International VoIP network for Long Distance Termination.
  • Voice Mail system for United Nations.
  • Carrier Billing System for long distance traffic exchange.
  • VoIP Gateway for international traffic termination in Egypt, Peru, Guatemala and other countries.
Angela Husney

Angela Husney

Project Manager

Angela Husney joined the BeQuick Software team in December of 2006 to develop a Project Management approach that continually strives for the best possible customer experience.  Angela is uniquely qualified for this role as she has actually been a BeQuick customer and brings a tremendous level of understanding and knowledge as a certified Project Management professional.  Her successes in customer implementations have played an important part in BeQuick Software’s outstanding retention rate – proudly, 100% of BeQuick Software customers continue to trust us to continuously improve and deliver world class software tools and support.  Prior to BeQuick Software, Angela was the Director of Operations for start  up Clec.  As the company’s second employee, she was instrumental in the development and growth of the company prior to the company’s acquisition .  Angela has also held senior management roles at Qwest Communications, Arrival Communications and MCI Communications during her 19 year telecommunications career. 

Annie Mena

Business Analyst

Annie Mena joined the BeQuick Software team in January of 2008, as an Account Manager, primarily responsible for the day to day support of her dedicated clients. Within three years, her management skills and knowledge earned her recognition as a Senior Account Manager. Most recently, Annie was promoted into the role of Business Analyst. With over 10 years of Telecom experience, her responsibilities include defining client's project requirements, analyzing and documenting these requirements, ensuring they accurately address primary objective and business case, and communicating them clearly to the team, while also collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to determine the best solution. Prior to BeQuick Software, Annie served as Carrier Manager for Azultel, she was responsible for the overall management and development of their Carrier Relations Department. She has also served as Operations Manager of a start up CLEC where she used BeQuick Software as a customer, providing a unique understanding to her role.

Danielle Perry

Manager, Customer Communication and Compliance

Danielle Perry joined BeQuick in February of 2010 as an Account Manager and brought with her over 15 years of telecom experience. Prior to joining BeQuick she spent eight years with a business-to-business CLEC, where she provided Director-level support to the two largest sales channels within the corporation. She is skilled at developing productive relationships, discovering clients’ needs, implementing effective solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure all clients are served appropriately. In her tenure with BeQuick, Danielle has managed several high-level custom projects for clients and provided new client training to numerous clients. In her role as Manager of Customer Communications and Compliance, Danielle is responsible for informing clients of major software releases, staying abreast of regulatory changes, and ensuring the Company’s software is compliant. She also manages internal communications and leads a team of technical writers who document the Company’s systems, processes and procedures.
